3 questionsHow is it weeks and not months?
Because it is one person writing it, and because version one only contains what version one needs. The list you were quoted three months for usually holds three months of things nobody has asked for yet.
Do I own the code?
Yes. The source is handed over at the end and it runs on infrastructure in your name. There is nothing to unpick if you want somebody else to take it on.
What if the scope changes?
The price is fixed against an agreed scope, so a change is a conversation with a number attached rather than a surprise on the invoice.
